Soulja Boy Angers The Army

*UPDATE*

Through Global Grind, Soulja Boy Wrote A Heart Felt Letter Explaining How Sincerely Sorry He Was.

I Don't Agree With What He Said About The Troops, But That What Sucks About Being Famous. You Always Gotta Make Apologies On How You Really Feel. Everybody Should Be Like Tyler The Creator Or Lady Gaga And Truly Not Give A F**k!

Rapper Soulja Boy has sparked outrage from a military veteran after making controversial derogatory comments about the military in his new song.

The hip-hop star provoked criticism after debuting a video for his new track Let's Be Real online, which contains the lyrics, "F**k the FBI and the army troops... fighting for what? Be your own man... I'll be flying through the clouds with green like I'm Peter Pan."
Retired Marine Fred A. Flores is demanding an apology from Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, over the "offensive" lyrics.
Flores, who is now a commissioner for the Los Angeles County Veteran's Advisory Commission, tells TMZ.com, "It's a very offensive statement... especially with the 10th anniversary of 9/11 coming up.
"He should apologise to ALL armed forces. (The rap) is very irresponsible, especially for a person who is an entertainer for the youth of our country."
