Saint Michael - Karma (Girl Down)

Saint Michael is a Jamaican Producer, Songwriter and Recording artist. The natural American accent mixed with Jamaican patios perfectly delivering his lyrical, melodic and rhythmatic genius sets him in a league of his own, unmatched by any artist currently on the market.
Formerly known as "J.malice" Saint Michael feels the new name better embraces his culture and who he is. His father, DJ Knox has been a sound man and selector (Jamaican Disk Jockey) all of Saint Michael's life. His father connected him with music at a very young age and since then he transformed from songwriter to DJ, DJ to rapper/singer and from there to entrepreneur and business man.
Growing up in Europe, Asia, Jamaica and America subconsciously gave Saint Michael a special sense of international pop culture awareness that many artists and people will never obtain.
After spending 2 months in Hittz Recording Studio in Fayetteville, NC (hometown) writing songs for artists such as Rihanna, Keyshia Cole Sean Kingston and many others he perfected his style and realized he had something to offer that no other artist in the game is delivering or has ever delivered. He credits the influence of his unique style to be his favorite Reggae legends such as Beenie-man, Bounty Killa, Baby Cham, Sizzla, Elephant Man, Buju Banton, Ninja-man, Shaba Ranks. He also credits American artists that were hot in the game between 1997 - 2002 particularly P. Diddy, The Lox, Snoop, Mystikal, Busta Rhymes, Master P and DMX.
