The mixtape will be the first release on Religion Records/Figga Gang Entertainment, a record label venture between Gillie Da Kid and Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, Tamba Hali -- a partnership that was made official back on August 1st, 2011. The label is financially backed by Hali and will initially seek to capitalize on the successful independent career Gillie Da Kid has built over the years. A widely-recognized and respected hip-hop artist, Gillie Da Kid has, in the past, been signed to the legendary Houston, Texas-based Suave House Records as well as Cash Money Records.
